Return and Refund Policy

Every piece created at Gann Diamonds is custom-designed and handcrafted for one specific client. Because of the bespoke nature of our work, our return and refund policy is different from a retail jewelry store. This page explains our policies clearly so there are no surprises after delivery.
Please read this policy carefully before commissioning a piece. If you have questions, we encourage you to ask them at your consultation.
Section 1 All Sales Are Final on Custom Pieces
Every commission at Gann Diamonds is custom-made to the client's specifications. Once a commission agreement is signed and production begins, the piece is built specifically for you and cannot be resold, restocked, or repurposed for another client.
For this reason, all sales of custom pieces are final. Gann Diamonds does not accept returns or issue refunds on completed custom commissions.
This policy is consistent with industry standards for bespoke fine jewelry and is clearly disclosed at the start of every engagement.
Section 2 Cancellations Before Production Begins
If you wish to cancel a commission before stone setting and casting have begun, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation requests at this early stage will be reviewed individually based on the work already completed.
Any deposit applied may be partially or fully retained to cover work already performed, including stone sourcing fees, design time, and CAD rendering. Specific terms are outlined in each commission agreement.
Once stone setting or casting has begun, cancellation is no longer possible and the full balance becomes due.
Section 3 Damaged in Transit
Gann Diamonds takes great care in packaging every piece for shipping. All shipments are fully insured through Jewelers Mutual to protect both you and us in the rare event of damage or loss during transit.
If your piece arrives damaged and has never been worn, you may return it for a replacement. To qualify, the following conditions must be met:
The piece must be returned in its original, unworn condition.
All original packaging, paperwork, and documentation must be included.
You must notify us within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.
Once we receive and verify the returned piece, we will produce a replacement and ship it to you at no additional cost. Replacements typically follow the same production timeline as the original commission.
Damage that occurred after the piece was worn, handled outside its packaging, or modified in any way does not qualify for replacement under this policy.
Section 4 Resizing
Gann Diamonds provides one complimentary resizing within sixty (60) days of delivery. This complimentary resizing is intended to ensure that your piece fits comfortably after you have had the opportunity to wear it.
To request a complimentary resizing, please contact us at melissa@ganndiamonds.com or +1 405-819-0051 to schedule a return to the studio. Return shipping to the studio is the client's responsibility. Return shipping back to you after resizing is included at no charge.
Resizing requests beyond the 60-day window, or any additional resizing beyond the first, will be quoted on a case-by-case basis. These typically involve a modest service fee depending on the complexity of the work.
Section 5 Warranty
Gann Diamonds does not offer a long-term craftsmanship warranty on custom pieces. We stand behind the quality of our work at the time of delivery, which is why the complimentary resizing window exists and why damage in transit is covered as described above.
However, the long-term condition of fine jewelry depends largely on how it is worn and cared for. Damage from accidents, normal wear, improper care, exposure to chemicals, impact, or modifications made by another jeweler is not covered under any warranty.

Section 6 Repair Services
Even when a repair is not covered under the complimentary resizing or damage-in-transit policies, Gann Diamonds is often able to repair pieces we have created. Repair work is quoted individually based on the nature of the damage, the materials involved, and the time required.
Because Melissa is intimately familiar with every piece that leaves the studio, she is uniquely positioned to repair or restore Gann Diamonds commissions. For repairs of pieces made by other jewelers, please consult that jeweler or a trusted local bench jeweler.
Section 7 Refunds
Where a refund is applicable (such as in the case of a verified pre-production cancellation), refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction. Refunds typically process within five to ten business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Gann Diamonds does not offer cash refunds, store credit, or gift card refunds in lieu of returning funds to the original payment source.

Please do not ship any piece back to Gann Diamonds without first contacting us. Unauthorized returns may be refused or delayed, and shipments without insurance coverage are at the sender's risk.

Our return and refund policy reflects the realities of bespoke jewelry production. Every piece is unique. Every commission represents significant time, materials, and craftsmanship. We aim to set clear expectations at the start of every engagement so that every client knows exactly what they are committing to.
