Shipping Policy

Every piece that leaves Gann Diamonds is the result of months of careful work. We treat the shipping process with the same care - using trusted carriers, full insurance coverage, and discreet packaging to ensure your piece arrives safely.

This Shipping Policy explains how we ship completed pieces, how long delivery takes, and what to expect from the moment your piece is finished to the moment it arrives at your door.

At this time, Gann Diamonds ships within the United States only. We do not currently offer international shipping. If you are located outside the United States and are interested in commissioning a piece, please contact us directly to discuss whether arrangements can be made.

 

We use the following trusted carriers for shipping completed commissions:

United States Postal Service (USPS) - Priority Mail Express with insurance for smaller pieces and most domestic shipments.

FedEx - for time-sensitive shipments or higher-value pieces requiring expedited service.

UPS - for select destinations or when our other carriers are not the best fit.

The specific carrier used for your shipment is selected based on the destination, the value and size of the piece, and your preferred timeline. We will inform you of the carrier and tracking information once your shipment is dispatched.

 

Every piece we ship is fully insured through Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group, a specialized insurer trusted across the fine jewelry industry. This insurance covers your piece from the moment it leaves our studio until it arrives at your door.

Insurance coverage is included in the shipping cost and is not optional. It provides protection against loss, theft, and damage during transit. The coverage amount matches the full appraised value of the piece being shipped.

 

Pieces are shipped in discreet, unbranded packaging to reduce the risk of theft during transit. The outer packaging contains no markings indicating that jewelry or valuables are inside.

Inside the package, your piece is securely housed in a jewelry box, along with any relevant documentation, certificates, and care instructions specific to your piece.

 

All Gann Diamonds shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. This is a standard requirement for insured jewelry shipments and ensures that your piece is received personally rather than being left unattended.

We strongly recommend that you arrange to be home or have someone you trust available to sign for the package on the scheduled delivery date. If no one is available, the carrier will typically attempt redelivery or hold the package at a local facility for pickup.

Please do not authorize carriers to leave your package without a signature. Doing so may void the insurance coverage and place the risk of loss on you.

 

Once your piece is completed and ready for shipping, the typical delivery timeline is two to five business days depending on the carrier, service level, and your location. Expedited overnight service is available upon request for time-sensitive deliveries, typically at an additional cost.

Please note: the shipping timeline begins after your piece is fully completed. Total time from commission to delivery includes the production timeline (typically six to ten weeks) plus shipping.

Specific shipping costs and estimated delivery dates are confirmed individually for each commission and included in the final invoice.

 

Once your shipment is dispatched, you will receive an email with the tracking number and a link to monitor its progress in real time. We recommend monitoring the tracking information as your delivery date approaches so you can plan to be available for the signature requirement.

 

Risk of loss transfers to the client upon delivery confirmation (signature received at the destination). Until that point, the piece remains fully insured by Gann Diamonds through Jewelers Mutual.

If a package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit before delivery confirmation, please notify us immediately. We will work directly with the carrier and Jewelers Mutual to file a claim and arrange a replacement piece following the terms outlined in our Return and Refund Policy.

 

If your piece arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please contact us within forty-eight (48) hours of the expected delivery date. Provide as much detail as possible, including photos of damaged packaging if applicable.

We will guide you through the claim process with the carrier and Jewelers Mutual. Replacement pieces will be produced and shipped following the original specifications, at no additional cost to you. For full details, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy.

 

Clients located in the Edmond and Oklahoma City area may choose to pick up their completed piece directly at the studio. In-studio pickup is by appointment only and includes a personal handoff during which Melissa walks you through the finished piece, care instructions, and any documentation that accompanies it.

If you prefer this option, please indicate so during your commission consultation.

 

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at the time of commission.

The address used for shipping needs to match the address on the credit card that is used.  

Address changes will not be allowed once the piece has been shipped.
